Emmanuel has a long standing commitment to and a strong emphasis on Christian Education. Sunday School classes are offered for children and adults from age 3 to 103. We begin at 9:30 A.M. with a general opening service and then students go to separate classes. Sunday School is held from the Sunday after Labor Day (Rally Day) to the second Sunday in June.
Vacation Bible School for children age 3 thru 5th grade is held for the community for one week in mid July each year. VBS runs in the evenings from 6:30 P.M. until 8:30 P.M., Monday thru Friday, with a family picnic Friday evening for the closing.

YOU ARE INVITED! There were only twelve in the first Sunday School as Jesus taught the first disciples, his words teach us today. Come and see what Sunday School is all about. Sunday School is for all ages and classes are available from age 5 to 105. There is also a Sunday School nursery for children under 5. Grow in the understanding of God's love, guidance and purpose for your life. In today's troubling world, we need to be firmly grounded in God's word to guide our lives. "Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs." (Matthew 19:14) Child care for children age 5 and under is available during Sunday School and Church hours. The nursery is located on the second floor of the education building. Children are brought to the sanctuary for the children's sermon.
